Member Directory Submission

Due to the rapid growth of BRIDGES, member directory listings will now be created by your club leadership.

To add a description for your business, visit your business listing (once created) and submit your description in the “Leave a Comment” section.  Your club membership when then copy your description over to your business directory listing.  If you have special business directory listing needs, you may hire one of the editors from your club.  Editor Members of BRIDGES have all agreed to reduce their normal website development fees ($50) to aid in the creation of a special business directory listing.  This fee is paid directly to the editor and does not go through BRIDGES.  BRIDGES does not benefit financially from your fee.

Business Directory Development Process

  1. Complete the membership interview process and pay your $35.
  2. Your club leadership will create your basic listing (minus any business description or contact info)
    • Your Business Listing title is your name
    • Business Description will be left blank
    • Category represents the club you belong to.
    • Tag represents the (1) main business classification for your club.
  3. You complete the “Leave a Comment” fields to have business description information added.
    • We will not add your eMail address if it is not part of the comment box.  The eMail field in the “Leave a comment” section is used for verification purposes only.
    • The web address field in the “Leave a Comment” section is optional and the contents from this field will not be added to your business directory submission.  If you want your business web address added to your business directory submission, then include it in the comments section.

FAQ

  1. Can I edit my listing once published?
    • Not at this time.
    • If you wish to change your submission, resubmit your listing via the comments field.
    • We will delete the existing content and replace with the new content.
  2. Can my listing appear in multiple clubs?
    • No.
    • Per BRIDGES Bylaws, you may represent one primary classification per club.  You can join a second club, but it must be under a different classification and thus you must submit another business listing.
  3. Why is this process so difficult?
    • BRIDGES is a Not for Profit organization and we have no paid staff.  Our volunteer staff all have their own businesses they run and they donate time to help the BRIDGES organization succeed.
    • The BRIDGES website receives thousands of SPAM attempts per month.  Combating SPAM has forced us to use systems that are not always human friendly.
  4. Why have a business listing?
    • Your business director listing now represents your exclusive membership in your BRIDGES Club.  If your position is not listed, then it is assumed to be open.
  5. Can I Transfer My Membership to a New Club?
    • Yes, if your position is open.
